I went to San Francisco! I’ve wanted to go for the longest time and finally I had the chance. It was a short trip but I plan to return next year. Here are a few images from the trip:
October always means a trip to the pumpkin patch at Mother Nature’s Farm. We’ve been going there for years. It’s not the closest one to my house, but it’s become a Halloween tradition. My kids automatically know that I will taking pictures and if their outfit doesn’t pass my test, they will be changing. The little guy actually didn’t fight me on this, even pulling out his jeans and a sweater. What makes this more impressive is that it was almost 100 degrees outside (I promise, I did not make him wear the sweater). Outfit criteria for the pumpkin patch is really not all that strict. I just want them to wear something clean and half-decent that doesn’t completely clash with orange.
It’s that time of year for family pictures! I am opening up two dates for mini sessions- Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 12th. Call or text me at 480-773-0628 for times and locations.
I have some gorgeous chunky frames in my house that everyone absolutely loves and wants, but I haven’t been able to get them for a while. Recently I found someone who can make them. Yay! The images below show an 8×10 and a 20×24 but they can make any size or color you want. Call or text Hayzor Designs at 602.350.0785 to order.
I’ve shot many many weddings with other photographers. I’ve started the day with the bride, catching those tender moments with her mother and bridesmaids. I’ve captured the ceremonies of many religions with a variety of customs. I’ve wrapped up the night with rice and sparklers, limos and vintage cars. I’ve shot in houses, hotel rooms, churches, restaurants, banquet halls, and ballrooms. I’ve worked bridal shows, met with clients, designed albums and done pretty much everything a wedding photographer does except take on weddings… until now. Introducing Gwendolyn Grace Photography Weddings. This is the first wedding I shot under my own name. The mother of the bride was also the mother of one of my high school seniors. They were such a nice and fun family.
Welcome 2016! The new year allows us to press the reset button and start fresh. This year will be amazing!
The blond hairpiece had Donald Trump written all over it. I was glad when my son agreed to dress up as Donald Trump for Halloween. I couldn’t talk him into putting bronzer on his face, but I think the hair says it all.
He even made it rain money in the streets! I’m sure the Donald is never without his wad of one dollar bills. And if you were wondering, Donald Trump pays taxes. At least he did on Halloween. I opened the freezer this morning and found this bag of candy with “parent tax” written on it. That kid cracks me up.
Tessa is a high school senior at Basha and a very talented dancer. I’ve had the opportunity to watch her perform and compete and she is amazing! I can’t wait to see what Tessa does with her dance career. I had a fun morning with Tessa, her mom, and their dog.
